Our Story

Patrick and Liz met one serendipitous Wednesday afternoon in July 2011. Liz was working as an event planner for a downtown NYC restaurant group, where she had booked a photo shoot for a new ad campaign for Chapstick. The morning of the shoot, a handsome young photographer by the name of Patrick James Miller walked through the front door, having just moved to New York from the West Coast... Much to their surprise (and delight!), this turned out to be anything but just another ordinary work day. It wasn’t long before Patrick mustered up the courage to approach Liz, with this amazing opening line: “You look familiar…are you from California?” She laughed, he grinned, they got to chatting...and the rest, as they say, is history!!
