Explore the gorgeous Brooklyn Botanic Gardens  | View world class art at the Brooklyn Museum  |  Spend a few hours or all day in glorious Prospect Park!

Prospect Park is a 585-acre urban oasis in the heart of Brooklyn, and one of our favorite places in all of NYC! From summer concerts at the bandshell and NY Philharmonic performances under the stars, to nature walks through old native forests and sunny barbeques and sports games with friends, there are few places we’d rather hang out in Brooklyn. Of course, the wedding will take place within this incredible park, but please feel free to spend an hour, an afternoon, or all day enjoying Brooklyn's best open space! The park was designed by Olmsted and Vaux (the landscape architects of Central Park), and as many Brooklyites like to say, is perhaps even better than it's Manhattan counterpart :-) Catch some rays or play games on the 90-acre Long Meadow, get lost amongst miles of wooded trails through Brooklyn's only forest, go fishing in one of many streams or on the 60-acre lake, bike or jog throughout the park, or explore the many old monuments and structures throughout (including of course, the Boathouse!).
